My day's brighten up ~ =))

Common test is over ~~.. 3 papers for this semester. Got my results for 2 papers & stress is finally over for the last paper on Wednesday. Quite satisfied after the test as i have pretty much confidence for that paper. =) Wednesday's paper from 1-2.30pm. After that, stayed back for FYP meeting till 4.30pm.

Meet him as he's in sch as well. Went JP for our dinner & movie. Ate @ Swensen & we saw a very cute waitress~!! lols. well, to me she's very cute. She wore a very nerdy specs. the frame of the specs is lik 50 cents coins(but slightly bigger than that lahs) -O--O-, there! it is exactly like that. Then her hair length is just 2 cm below her ear (hair of equal length), which really fits into the image of Geeks. lols. i think she deliberately did that. it's kind of entertaining for me to see this. =X . I saw her name tag, Nurul. Should be a Malay. But doesnt look like one, more towards Chinese as she's fair. Or maybe she's weird in this way as well. A chinese but named herself Nurul. lols. =x

One thing i must not forget.. Anyway, thanks for the dinner~~! =)

Went for our movie -Alvin & The Chipmunks- @ 7.10am... walking along the corridor leading to our show's threatre, a guy just cut past us and rush to the toilet in a very fast speed. As though the toilet's is a plane that's taking off at anytime. -.-

Watched ALVIN & The CHIPMUNKS~~~.. this show is highly recommended by ME! i shan't elaborate much on it. For you to know, for you to find out. =D my cheeks' stil cramped when the show ended.. They are super-uber-duper CUTE can! And that always appear in the show only. in real life, chipmunks are actually quite ugly to me. lols. =x i found a website which have 5 trailers of it... hees.. love this show sooooooo much !!!! i know he likes it too.. lols. but not as siao as me. after the movie i keep recalling the different funny scenes in the movie & kept laughing non-stop for around 30mins. maybe not that exaggerating, not non-stop. but laughing constantly. =D
The show's duration is ard 1hr 30mins.

a sweet chalet .



ytd went to chalet at sentosa. it's been years that i went to chalet can. 1++ year i think? the last chalet i went was during my poly year 1, my class chalet. Such a long time ago.

anyway, it's the first time i had an chalet at sentosa, costa sand resort. went with elvin & gang. not a lot of people, but yet it's fun. i enjoyed a lot. hahs . 12people.


the chalet's $144 for 2 days 1 night. Expect it to be quite big, but it turns out to be a disappointment. just enough for 12.(excluding sleeping time)

then some of us went to play LUGE. i want to complain that it's damn ex for non-islander!!!!~ $9 per ride. -.- ! last time only $5 or 6.

then as it's getting late. 7pm. we had BBQ(as usual), people sabotaging each other by throwing one another into the swimming pool. the first one who kana is Gerald. so poor thing. hahs . it's seems damn fun, but lucky i'm not being thrown. hahs. using excuse that i'm a girl. =D but i know, if it was a Magnum chalet. my guys wouldnt care. hahs . they will just throw you in. that shows how close & bonded we are after what we had been through together. =))

back to chalet ard 10+pm. wash up & play games. =) drinking games. most of us drank quite a lot that night, i think only 2 were drunk. hahs. lousy! =x one of the drunkards even tried to sabotage me to drink, then him himself cannot take it.

first, we played a drinking game by using a Pirates of the Caribbean toy. where each and every one of us will take turns to insert a small sword into the holes of the toy. If the Pirate figurine shoots up when that sword is being inserted, BINGO. that person have to drink. =))

second, we play a game which is similar to "Secret NO." (zhong ji mi ma, Jacky wu's game) However, it is played using Poker cards.

third, it is the Toilet Game. In this game, no one is allow to go to the toilet once the game commence. This is one of the favourite games that magnum will play. it's damn fun. each player will turn to open a card which is place in the middle. each cards have different rule.

Drinking Game -

Card No. 1-5 (black) - Ownself have to drink a cup.

Card No. 1-5 (red) - You can pick any one to drink.

Card No. 6 - It's Toilet card! Privilege to go toilet. 1 card per toilet trip.

Card No. 7 - It's the 7-Up game. However, instead of saying "UP", "bottles" is

being use. (e.g 1,2,3,4,5,6,bottles,8,9,10,11,12,13,bottles,15,16,bottles,18

19,20,bottles,22,23...) In case, anyone of you dont know how the 7-Up

game goes. Rule of it: anything related to 7 must be replace by the word

"Up". This will go round the players.

Player failed to say "bottles", or hesitated in shouting out the number or

shout out the wrong number will have to drink. =)

Card No. 8 - The Copycat card. The person who open this card will have to do an action

which everyone will have to follow. Last person who does it, got to drink!

Card No. 9 - Set a rule card. The person who open this card can set any rule in the

game. [ e.g no vulgarities, no touching of hair, no touching of any facial

part, no cross-leg sitting.. etc.] once any one is caught doing what is ought

not to do, drink~~! However, this card can also be use to unban the rule

set.

Card No. 10 - Ask a question card. The person who got this card have to ask a question.

He/she can keep the card and ask the question to anyone at any point of

the time during the game. If another player answered the question being

asked, that person got himself a drink! hahs ..

Card No. Jack/ - This card is similar to the Heart-Attack game. However, Hey-Jack is being

Queen shouted out for Jack & Hey-Bitch for Queen. Instead of Heart-Attack. Last

person to place his/her hand, will receive a drink.

Card No. King - Ownself have to drink. But you can select the choice that you want. =)

yeap, & tt's all for the game that night. ard 4++am, people starts to get tired & went to bed. due to the space constraint, i decided not to sleep. lucky i'm not tired, partly due to his accompany. took a stroll and went to the beach. chit-chatting whole night through. all the way til 7++am, went back to chalet. ard 10am, we check-out. went back home after our lunch @ habour front's hawker centre, super-shag. hahs ..

slpt @ 12+pm, and i think i wake up ard 10++pm that night. lols. planned to study for my CT, but the plan's is not being executed that night. =D .

well, i enjoyed the chalet. Thanks Gerald & Elvin for being the so-called 'organiser'. & i want to thank myself for being part of the contribution too.. whaha.. i provide car to buy the bbq's food with elvin okies. =D . last but not least, the time i spent with him. =))

Festive Season.


It's December ardy! Just happen to realise that it's the end of the year.2007. &..... festive season is just around the corner. Christmas~~~

Being a Catholic, i go to church every Christmas Eve without fail. =D i celebrate Christmas every year too... With my family, and also with Magnum. It's fun & i'm looking forward to it every year. =))

therefore, I D.I.Y a christmas tree to add on to the Christmas atmosphere in my room. hahs..

jus finish mugging through the paper for tml. UOP. formulas are all spinning in my head now. q=1+{[CpL(Tb-Tf)]/ג} ... y=[q/(q-1)]x - Xf/(q-1) .. 1/q= (k/qoc) + 1/qo ... on and on and on.. going crazy. other then UOP paper, LAB test's tml too. didnt even touch can. practical-based. Lab test @ 8 am , and i'm still here blogging, that dont sounds good hur. hahs. got to wake up @ 6.30am !!! wtf am i still doing here?

tml's going to be a long day. lab test, 8-11am. lecture 11-1pm, break til 2pm. 2-4 UOP paper. 4 onwards, staying back to complete my FYP on the distillation column. argh. today's ardy long enough for me. 10 - 12pm lesson. 1-7++pm, studying in sch. mentally exhausted when i reached home. hope this will be over soon, but i guess not so soon.. still got tonnes of project deadline's meeting. save me pls.. ~ !
the good thing is, i learnt to prioritise my studies again. not saying that i heck care for the past few semesters, but i think i improved in this area in a much further extend. =)) well, at least i know i put in effort for my studies. (it's okay if readers dont agree, maybe u just dont know me well enough. tt's too bad then~)


i seldom hang out late at night anymore, nor feel lik going out so often.(as compared to before. i go out every single weekend til late late night. be it town or any where else. i just need to be out of the house, and meet up with my girls. c= ) But, not now anymore. there's lot more things for me to do or achieve, bringing sense of satisfaction to myself. Like spending time with my family, doing my assignment so that i dont have to rush it at the very last minute. Pack my room so that it looks neat & tidy. clean up my room. decorate it. i feel happy this way too. i'm not saying that i get tired of going out with my girls, cuz i stil went out with them! however, not as frequent as before. i believe that they will understand. =)) i feel bad when i reject some of them at times.

i think it's about time for people ard my age (19yrs old) to really think abt what they really want. In Studies or Career. Mainly the Polytechnic students who are going to be graduating soon. One cant be aimless, got to move on and dont be stuck there. It's good that if you have an aim, go for it! (of cuz efforts need to be put) thing's moving, world's changing. It's always not too late to have fun. =)

Things dont just drop down from the sky(except snow/rain.~ wateva) for us..we're not lucky all the time...

year 3. times flies. hahs .. now, i'm buried in my projects/reports/papers.. hell lots of shit. -.- never in my poly life i had been this hardworking before. Not i wanna be, but no choice lahs. hahs .. who dont want to graduate and move on right? people always says, no education = no future. Esp. by who ? people who lives under the same roof. OUR PARENTS. =)) How about those millionaire entreprenuers without even a diploma?



i can easily name 1 company in singapore. Union Steel Holdings Limited. Set up by these 2 guys(with o'level cert) in 2004.(if i'm not wrong, but definitely not higher than that) They turned millionaire within 1 year by collecting unwanted metals and recycling it. It's quite a huha around 2005-2006.



However, majority of the singaporeans are KIA-SEE!!!!!!(Mr KIA-SU's Bro)
Entrepreneur means : a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, esp. a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
whatever la hur... ~ so easy be entrepreneur, then there's no workers lo. All become BOSS(entrepreneur). BOSS cant find people to work for them, then in the end have to work even harder. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO......Continue to STUDY HARD ba! u see, bo bian. hahs ... let's contribute to balance up the working's pyramid. i sound how noble. =D



how the fuck i got to talk abt that ? i jus wan to complain abt my studies. sorry, side-tracking jus now. common test's coming, jus went back to sch and study today. 11++am til 3++pm for my paper on tuesday. Units of Operation. my sis's happened to be in sch too. She's in Np , studying in a total different course from mine.
Her's = Banking & finance. Me = it's stated on the 1st page of my blog, go and read it yourself~~ then, she asked me to send her back as well, after i finish my stuffs. ya and i did. drove her back home and then i head to my mum's saloon @ jurong west st92. (publicity reason) hahs .. got there, dyed my hair. Happy with the outcome of my hair colour. & going back for highlighting another day.. it's been quite a long time since i dyed my hair. 10 mths. =D


mum went off first as she had to fetch my grandmother & go to attend her friend's birthday celebration. other then just attending, she has to perform as well. that's what she told me. Singing lah, ah-der. her interest is singing! going to singing lesson with my grandmother who is still very young at heart every twice a week. recently, she had a singing competition, having 30+ participants, she didnt get it. BUT!! she's proud to get BEST Dressing award. "The one and only." she said. LOLs. LMAO. ok, but i still support her like how she's there for me during my last year National's competition.



i will always remember that very moment. i hugged her and cried. Telling her,' mum we'd lost. why did we lost? we trained so hard and yet we lost. we give all that we could and yet we lost. sacrificing almost everything. we did not get any title at all, are we really that lousy?' all these things just run in my mind and the only person that i feel like saying to is my mum. i felt connected to her, esp in her arms. & she told me this,'Dont cry. You lose it this year, there's still next year.'



Coincidently, my dad called mum to ask about the result(he's unable to make it due to work)). she passed the phone to me & i talk to my dad. he comforted me. & said something that stops me from crying. "You cry for what? When you lose you cry, how will your opponent look at you? Being a sore loser? In a competition, there bound to be win or lose. if you lose it this year, get it back next year. No point crying."



Since the day they know i joined cheerleading, they had always discouraged me to join this sport. They claimed that it is very dangerous and always asked me to focus on my studies instead. Not only that, they felt that it's redundant. Once, even to the extend of asking me to quit.



eventually, words of support from them makes the greatest impact. =) i know i'm blessed to be their child. cause they always support whatever i do( of cause not wrong-doing lah). They will be there when i'm really down, giving me support and understand me.



i remember 1 incident. when i was in Japan with my family on a holiday. Not long after my o's. & that's also when i just broke off with my ex. lasting 1 yr and 9 mths. me and my sis shared 1 room and parents another. just as i happened to enter their room, i overheard my parents' conversation as their door is not properly close. my mum said to my dad, " can see that your eldest daughter feeling better already right? after bringing her to Japan. She's not so down anymore. " i went back to my room after that. i am very touched.



like what my dad always says, ' aren't you all (my sis & me) very fortunate? what you all want, you got what. still not good enough? But must be more obedient '. maybe that's how my father thinks that that's the best for us. I may not be so materialistic, but i know i'm fortunate. Cuz my parents treat me and my sis the best they could. =)



i seldom blog about them doesn't mean that they dont mean much to me. Cause when i blog about them, i will blog it with my whole heart in it.



i love them. as much as they love me.
